Bradley Beach is a unique oceanfront and family community located on the Jersey Shore home to friendly residents and welcoming to visitors and businesses. As a small but diverse town, our Bradley Beach municipality seeks to offer the best quality of life, civic engagement, great services in a caring and inclusive environment.
A History of Bradley Beach
The earliest accounts of Bradley Beach can be traced back to 1679 when it is said that Captain William Kidd anchored his vessel off Duck Creek, now known as Sylvan Lake. The area was rich with pine trees and sand dunes providing a natural haven for waterfowl. It was also reported that an Indian tribe existed in the approximate area of LaReine Avenue.

Please remember the Halloween curfew Saturday, October 30th through Monday, November 1st. No person under 18 years of age shall be allowed on any streets of the Borough of Bradley Beach unless accompanied by a parent or guardian between the hours of 8pm and 6:30am.

Hello Residents- A few noteworthy items to mention:
This Saturday the Shade Tree Commission is planting sixteen trees around town. This is their biggest undertaking in terms of planting since its inception over a year ago- great job. If you are interested in helping, there may be a few slots open- check the website. Thanks to Public Works for their assistance on this very big project!
