Bradley Beach is a unique oceanfront and family community located on the Jersey Shore home to friendly residents and welcoming to visitors and businesses. As a small but diverse town, our Bradley Beach municipality seeks to offer the best quality of life, civic engagement, great services in a caring and inclusive environment.
A History of Bradley Beach
The earliest accounts of Bradley Beach can be traced back to 1679 when it is said that Captain William Kidd anchored his vessel off Duck Creek, now known as Sylvan Lake. The area was rich with pine trees and sand dunes providing a natural haven for waterfowl. It was also reported that an Indian tribe existed in the approximate area of LaReine Avenue.

Jersey Shore Winter Outlook
December 2nd at 7 pm join us at Borough Hall and enjoy a free, engaging evening on the winter outlook ahead. Chief Meteorologist Joe Martucci of Traix57’s Streaming News Network will talk about what to expect this upcoming winter for the region. From temperatures, to snow, to nor’easters, Joe will cover it all. A winter outlook will be followed by questions and answers from you, too.Â
Joe is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and Certified Digital Meteorologist, the only one in the state with both. Joe earned his degree from Rutgers University and lives in the county.Â
