Notification about Noise Ordinance #2023-09 recently passed by Borough Council
The Borough Governing Body recently adopted a new ordinance with the following provisions. Please be sure to comply with them and be sure to inform your contractors of the need to comply the following provisions:
From 6:00 PM of the Friday before Memorial Day through 8:00 AM October 1st, contractors (construction, landscaping, tree trimming, etc.) using noise producing equipment may not perform work between 6:00 PM Friday and 8:00 AM Monday and on holidays. This prohibition may be suspended in the event of an emergency. Homeowners performing their own work on their
homes/properties may do so only between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
