July Message-

Our Summer is progressing well.  The weather has started to turn in our favor.  Main Street is recovering;  and our businesses are bustling.  This Saturday we are having a Fireworks display on the beach.  Please join us- it should be quite a show!  We’ve added a few surprises to make up for our July 3rd postponement!

Our new Business Administrator- Kim Humphrey (formally Gonzales), is starting on July 12th.  Kim has been meeting with myself and Borough employees so that she will hit the ground running- welcome Kim!

We are continuing to assess and make improvements in our parking capacity.  We hope to make a proposal to increase capacity near Main Street; and our NJ DOT application to delineate parking on Main Street is pending.  This will be an ongoing process that will continue to improve our situation.

Although we have had success with combating the Pandemic, the Delta Variant is worrisome.  Please conform to the CDC guidelines if you are not vaccinated- mask wear or social distancing when indoors.  If you can get vaccinated, I encourage you to do so- our children are still vulnerable.

Our Arts Council is actively preparing for their 10th Anniversary production- A Shakespeare Festival- Friday, July 23 at 6:30pm, Saturday, July 24 at 6:30pm Rain date Sunday, July 25 at 6:30pm A FREE EVENT at the Gazebo, 5th and Ocean See our Facebook Page Contact us at: bradleybeachartscouncil@gmail.com.  This honors former Mayor Julie Schreck, founder of the Arts Council.

See you around town and enjoy your summer, your family, and your friends!

Best-

Mayor Larry Fox
