Annual Green Fair

The Bradley Beach Green Fair is a free family-friendly event that promotes a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The Green Fair will introduce sustainability to all members of the community, help educate them about the difference that conscious efforts in conservation and recycling can make and provide them with tools that they can take home and use. The Friends of the Bradley Beach Library: Afternoon Tea

The Friends of the Bradley Beach Library will host an afternoon tea on Sunday, April 28th from 2-4 pm at O’Hara Hall (Parish of St. Teresa of Calcutta) 501 Brinley Ave, Bradley Beach.  $25 charge covers pots of tea, tea sandwiches, scones, cookies and pastries.  There will be a “Best Hat Contests” and fascinators may be purchased at the event.  Tickets must be purchased at the library in advance by April 23 by cash or check made payable to “Friends of the Bradley Beach Library”.  Tickets will NOT be available to purchase the day of the event.

In Time

Receive your mission briefing and encounter historic characters come to life from the archives as you embark on completing missions, quests, clues and puzzles. Start times are every 15 minutes 1-6pm and will last about an hour. Minimum age is 8, and this program is appropriate for adults. One Beach One Read

Tuesday, May 21, 6-8pm Location: Bradley Beach Firehouse The book this year is The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom. All of Bradley Beach is invited to read this one book together as a community and come together to discuss it. 6:00-6:45p: Potluck. Please bring a favorite dish to share as we discuss this year's book. 6:45-8:00p: Book discussion.
