An updated message from Council President Jane DeNoble: I've spoken with Mayor Gubitosi, and he and his family are incredibly grateful for your prayers and support. They are relieved to share that their son and daughter-in-law are now in stable condition.

Mayor Gubitosi is unable to attend tonight's council meeting due to a severe and traumatic out of state family emergency, involving his son and daughter-in-law. The Mayor has been tirelessly working for Bradley Beach to improve our community and while he tends to this crucial family matter, the Council wishes him and his family strength and comfort. We want to reassure the residents of Bradley Beach that we will continue to work diligently on their behalf and maintain the progress we have made together.
