Bradley Beach Fire Department Gives Back $8,000 To The Community

Who: The Bradley Beach Volunteer Fire Department, along with several dignitaries including Senator Vin Gopal, will announce that proceeds raised from the Annual 5K race will be distributed back into the Bradley Beach Community. 

When: Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Bradley Beach Fire Department Banquet Hall, 815 Main Street Bradley Beach, NJ 07720.

What: Each year, our local Bradley Beach Volunteer Fire Department conducts a community based 5K race, proceeds raised, after expenses, are redistributed to several local nonprofit organizations, which also include our financial support to the Bradley Beach Grammar School graduating 8^th grade class trip to Washington DC each Year.  This year being regarded as exceptional, we will be adding a special monetary gift to the graduating class 2023. 

This year’s recipients include organizations that benefit the Shore Community which include in addition to the Grammar School, the Bradley Beach First Aid, Food pantry, Exempt Firemen’s Association, Local PBA. Jersey Shore Running Club and the Torries Foundation. This year we will also include a $500.00 donation to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. In total over $8,000 will be distributed to the local organizations.
