Bradley Beach Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Sept. 13, 2021 -- Bradley Beach Department of Tourism announced today a variety of activities taking place throughout Bradley Beach between September 15 and October 15, 2021 in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. BEACH LOCKERS: Beach locker use has been extended to Sunday, September 26, 2021. All personal items must be removed by that date. Please note that beach lockers may be moved before that date due to inclement weather.

Brush/Leaf Pick-Up and New Recycle Yard Hours

Brush/Yard Waste pick-up is on Monday, 9/13. Please note that grass clippings and dirt will not be accepted. Leaf pick-up begins on Wednesday, 9/15. Leaves may be placed loose or in biodegradable leaf bags at curbside. Leaves must be placed at least 10 feet away from a drain inlet. Please do not combine leaves with brush and yard waste. Recycle Yard hours change on Sept. 16th. The off season hours are: Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8 am to 12 pm from September 16th thru May 14th.

Parking Improvements Weather Permitting Starting On or About Wednesday, September 8, 2021 Normal working hours will be between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. On Wednesday, September 8, 2021 we will be installing concrete curb at the park area along 2nd and 3rd Avenue between Main Street and Hammond Avenue. September 2, 2021 Mayor’s Message

Our Summer Season is coming to an end. It’s been a great year- a few weather challenges; but overall enjoyable for our residents and visitors. We have extended locker and beach showers through the end of the month for primarily our residents. We are lifting the beach mats as a contingency against September storms. Hopefully this last “official” weekend weather forecast holds! From Mayor Fox August 19, 2021 With just 3 + weeks left in our “official” Summer season, Beach Staff (lifeguards, attendants), Public Works,  Public Safety, and Tourism continue to do a phenomenal job.  We are on target for another successful year.  Thanks to all!
