Routine Reapplication Process with CAFRA

This a notification from the Mayor in reference to the routine reapplication process with CAFRA. A permit will be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection, for the continued use of beachfront amenities including safety equipment and ADA access. At our February 22nd Council Meeting, we have an important presentation/ workshop regarding our LaReine Avenue Church.  Our Project Partner- DIG Architectural, will deliver a presentation, the first of 2 big deliverables.  We will see the product of its architectural analysis. This is a milestone in the process. This report-out to the community will present the 3 options for the sites that we contracted to receive;  and moves us closer to the final deliverable- a full design and cost recommendation to the community- due in April. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 24, 2022   Murphy-Oliver Administration Announces New Program for Struggling Homeowners Over $325 million of federal funding to provide financial assistance and counseling for homeowners financially impacted by COVID-19  TRENTON – Governor Philip D. Murphy and Lt. Governor Sheila Y. Oliver today announced the upcoming launch of the Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance Program (ERMA), administered by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA). Beach Badge Sale Extension

Due to safety precautions with the increase in positive COVID-19 cases, the Adult Seasonal Beach Badge Holiday Badge discount will be extended to January 14, 2022. Adult Seasonal badges will be sold at a Holiday fee of $60.00 if purchased between November 30, 2021 and January 14, 2022 before 4:00 pm. In addition, the Adult Seasonal Badge will be sold at a preseason fee of $70.00 from January 15, 2022 through April 1, 2022 before 4:00 pm. All other categories of Season Badges will be sold at the regular price.

New Years Garbage/Recycling Pick-Up Schedule

Be advised: Only garbage on Main Street will be picked up on Monday, January 3rd. All other addresses will be picked-up on the next scheduled collection day (Thursday). The recycling yard will be closed on Saturday, January 1st but will be open on Sunday, Jan. 2nd and Monday, Jan. 3rd from 8 am to 12 pm.
