IT’S BEACH SWEEPS TIME!
Be part of the Bradley Beach contingent of Clean Ocean Action’s 39th Annual Fall Beach Sweeps on Saturday, October 19 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. rain or shine. Volunteers of all ages are invited to register at www.cleanoceanaction.org and join other beach lovers at the 5th Avenue Gazebo ready to contribute to the important environmental work of COA.
Dress for the weather and wear hard-soled shoes. It will be appreciated if you come prepared with a bucket and work gloves for trash pickup, but they will be provided if you don’t bring them.
Our local effort, organized by the Bradley Beach Environmental Commission, is part of the more than 80 participating locations along the New Jersey shoreline collecting data that provides a legacy of information used to identify sources of pollution, monitor trends, and discover and promote solutions.
